Newcastle fans were amazed by Sandro Tonali’s performance against Manchester United, in which the Italian star even nutmegged the referee.

Italy star Sandro Tonali has played a key role at Newcastle this season, and fans are delighted with his performances.

The former Milan star impressed the Magpies’ supporters at Old Trafford on Monday and received praise on social media, especially X, formerly Twitter.

The 24-year-old contributed to a crucial 2-0 away win against the Red Devils, and the highlights of his performance include nutmegging referee Simon Hooper.

Tonali returned to action at the end of August after a 10-month ban for illegal betting and has immediately regained his starting spot in the middle of the park at Newcastle.

The Italian midfielder has two goals and two assists in 20 appearances at a club level this season.

He’s also made six appearances for Italy’s national team since his return, scoring one goal – his first one for La Nazionale – and providing two assists.
